Our Staff & Qualifications
TLC Director has 40 years of experience in the child care field and has dedicated her life to providing excellent care to the children at our centers. All staff hired will be qualified by DHS guidelines for their position. All Staff are certified in CPR & First Aid, Also Trained in Child Abuse Prevention, Blood Borne Pathogens, Risk Reduction, Emergency Preparedness, AHT, SUIDS & much more. Thorough background checks conducted & teacher/child ratios will always meet or exceed State requirements. All staff are mandated to receive additional in-service / training throughout each year (approximately 25 hours a year). This will include classes such as Child Assessments, Diversity, Passenger Safety, Food & Nutrition, Curriculum Planning, Child development & Civil Rights.

TLC is fully insured according to the Department of Human Service Standards and the Director has been providing high quality childcare in Minnesota for over 40 years. This Center is in the process of receiving a 4 Star rating through Parent Aware & the Director is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our program will meet or exceed the researched based “best practices” to provide the highest quality of care and standards in the industry.
